Laurel Coffey-Bodine

About me

I am a writer and educator taking a short hiatus from my professional life to spend as much time as possible my two children: a three-year-old boy and a two-month-old girl. I have lived in Oklahoma City for a little more than a year and am enjoying exploring the city and surrounding area.

My favorite thing about being a LAR

As a LAR, I am the closest point of contact for Host Families and Au Pairs. My favorite part of being a LAR is learning about the daily cultural exchange that occurs between Host Families and their Au Pairs.

Why I love my job

I started serving the Oklahoma City area in the summer of 217. We have a small but close cluster and are hoping to grow it in the coming months. I was impressed to learn the Au Pairs in the cluster enjoy sincere friendships with each other and get together on a regular basis.
