The areas I serve in Ohio

I cover a one hour radius starting from downtown Cincinnati.  This includes as far North as Dayton, East to Batavia and West to Brookville, Indiana.  I also travel as farSouth as Georgetown, Kentucky.

I have a background working with parents and children. The Au Pair program allows me to use my experience to help Au Pairs and Host Families thrive.  I also love (I mean LOVE) the Cincinnati area and it’s so fun to show this amazing place off to Au Pairs. I want them to have the best time while they are here!

My current cluster includes Au Pairs from South America and Europe.  We have a fun group chat where they can connect and even plan gatherings or trips together.  My current Au Pairs are welcoming and helpful to new Au Pairs. We love building a community of Au Pairs and Host Families here.

Au Pair Cultural Activities

Au Pairs are required to attend a number of Cultural Activities with their Local Area Representative and nearby Au Pairs to make sure they experience the local community and culture during their stay. Below are some of the activities Emily’s cluster has been up to recently!

We recently visited the Cincinnati Art Museum, where we got to enjoy art from around the world.  It is nestled in beautiful Eden park.  Afterwards, we took a walk.  We often spend some time asking questions and sharing experiences.

The easiest and most popular way to get around Cincinnati is by car.

There is a metro bus system but due to how spread out the city is, it is not always convenient or time-efficient.

au pair social security card informationAn Au Pair will need to get a Social Security # before getting a bank account and driver’s license. Go Au Pair will provide a welcome packet with social security information, on the Au Pairs arrival. We advise Au Pairs to wait 10 days after arrival to get their social security number. You can make an appointment at a social security office, closest to your home.

Child-Friendly Activities for Au Pairs and Host Families

There are many fun activities to participate in for the Cincinnati area, depending on the season. One of my favorite websites that highlight activities, food, accommodations and loads more of unique suggestions, is

I have lived in this area my entire life and am always willing to give my personal recommendations. I would say some must dos for the area would include Kings Island, Riverbend, Smale River walk, attending a Reds or Bengals game or trying one of our staples, Skyline Chili.
