My favorite thing about being a LAR
Families and pets are on the top of my favorites list. If your pet jumps on me, I’ll be honored. If your cat jumps on my lap, I’ll be thrilled. If your child wants me to admire his/her artwork, that would be exciting. If you like puns, we’ll get along so well. LOL!
Why I love my job
I’ve been with Go Au Pair for 1.5 years and I have learned so much about what au pairs and host parents need to get through the 1st few months and more. Initially, the au pair has paperwork, driving lessons, travel documents, socialization, school selections, cultural adjustments. That’s why I’m here.
Parents need someone to help the au pair while they work and someone to answer questions locally. I’m here for all of you.
I also arrange social events for the au pairs and for the families so that everyone can get to know each other.
If you decide to work with Go Au Pair, I’ll start with a home interview to answer your questions about how it works. Honesty is my policy. Listening is my specialty.
Hello to All Parents!!
I know how tough it is to be a working parent of young children because I’ve done it. Getting the children to their activities, making sure their homework is done, assuring that they’re safe and eating correctly, and making sure that they’re getting healthy enrichment and not spending all day watching TV or stuck on their electronics is a major concern for parents..
My life is now about you! I want to make your life easier by helping you with an au pair. Imagine not having to dress your children, pack a diaper bag and deliver them to a day care or sitter in the morning! Think about how much easier it would be if an au pair fed your children before you returned home for work and had them ready for whatever evening activity they’ve chosen! Wouldn’t it be nice if their homework was completed before you returned home? If your child beomes ill, you would have in-house care instead of scrambling to find a temporary babysitter. The children’s laundry would be done and their messes would be cleaned-up. It all takes a load off of your busy shoulders.
I’m a retired graphic artist, Sales & Marketing Director and Character Coach in the Cincinnati Public Schools. My son & daughter live nearby with their 4 boys (2 each). I love family life so much that I want you to enjoy it too and stress free.
