I’m an outgoing former New Yorker who loves to travel the world and has a college degree in Cultural Anthropology. Having moved to Florida five years ago, I can easily relate to the experience of adapting to a new community. This program is the perfect way to use my skills to serve as a cultural mentor and mediator. I love helping people share their unique cultures.

Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles
Driving in Florida with a foreign license is permitted for non-residents, but once you establish residency you must obtain a Florida driver’s license within 30 days. Testing: Applicants must pass a vision test and a written knowledge exam on Florida traffic laws. We advise Au Pairs to wait 10 days after arrival to get their social security number. You can make an appointment at a social security office, closest to your home.
