About me
My Name is Dawn Harris , and I’m the local Area Representative at Go Au Pair in the South Sound Region of the Puget Sound in Washington State. I have several years of experience working as a nanny in my twenties in high school and also in my college years. I have a Bachelor Degree in Health Promotion and a Minor in Psychology. I became a LAR because I love the Au Pair program. It’s a great opportunity for families to learn a different culture and for international students to learn American culture. I wish I would have known about the Au Pair program when my kids were little.
My favorite thing about being a LAR
As a LAR, I love working with the Au Pairs and learning their culture. I enjoy showing the Au Pairs the beauty of Washington State by hiking, kayaking, winter sports, eating American food and American entertainment. I hope to add more families to my cluster and I look forward to new families and Au Pairs.
Why I love my job
I enjoy getting to know my host families and their Au Pairs. I have become more cultured because of my job. I am truly blessed to be a part of this agency.
