Katy Fellows

About me
My name is Katy, and I’m a Local Area Representative at Go Au Pair in Reno, NV. I have 10 years working in social services between several states. I have been a LAR since January, 2019.
My favorite thing about being a LAR
As a LAR, I love supporting host families and Au Pair develop a strong relationship. I love watching host families and Au Pairs’ relationship develop over the course of the time the Au Pair is here. I pride myself on being available to Au Pair and host families to support them in whatever they need during their time in the program. Being in the social services field, I find I can help Go Au Pair participants navigate a variety of situations. Be a LAR is so much fun! I love the personal component of this job.

Territory Geo Description
The majority of the Au Pairs in this cluster reside in Washoe County, specifically Reno/Sparks. They are a very friendly, fun group of individuals. There are currently four (soon to be five) from So. Africa and one from Columbia. This is a relatively new group, but they seem to have bonded and do things on their own, as well as in a group.
