The areas I serve in Nebraska

I am the Local Area Representative for big cities like Omaha in Nebraska to smaller cities such as Dunlap in Iowa. I help local families that are located nearby within 1 hour from the heart of Downtown Omaha, Nebraska.

Welcome! I am Brianna and the newest Nebraska/Iowa Representative for Go Au Pair. I grew up in Omaha and am very familiar with the city and surrounding areas.

I studied in my undergrad at the University of Nebraska—Omaha. I have been a writer for the past 8 years and am trilingual. I am usually reading, cooking/baking, going for a run, spending time with my family or playing video games. I enjoy learning and challenging myself with new hobbies. My current new interests are blacksmithing, botany and learning a third language to code in.

I believe that the Au Pair program provides a beautiful experience for both Host Families and Au Pairs. It is a great exchange of cultural values and traditions that will be cherished from everyone
who participates. As the Local Area Representative, I am available for the Host Families and Au Pairs while being able to provide them events within the city to bring everyone closer while learning more about one another. It is truly a one of a kind experience for everyone involved and I am so happy to be a part of it!

Our Nebraska Host Families currently have Au Pairs from Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador and Peru. Our local Au Pairs care for children of all ages from toddlers to teenagers. The Nebraska host parents are in marketing, engineering, finance, healthcare, human resources and transportations.

Au Pair Cultural Activities

Au Pairs are required to attend a number of Cultural Activities with their Local Area Representative and nearby Au Pairs to make sure they experience the local community and culture during their stay. Check back soon to see some of Brianna’s cluster’s activities!

breakfast at murray parkWe meet at a park here in Utah and everyone brings a breakfast item from their home country to share. We have had Pao de Queijo, from Brazil and Empanadas from Ecuador. We chat, eat and get to know each other, by learning about the Au Pairs families, host families, everyone’s interests and what they have been experiencing while here in Utah.

holiday party at erin's houseThis is a favorite! We eat breakfast and do a fun gift exchange with the Au Pair group, where everyone brings a $10 gift. We draw numbers and you pick a gift and you either take a gift from the pile or steal someone else’s. Everyone leaves with a fun gift and the Au Pairs love it! It’s great to celebrate together and see what everyone’s plans are for the rest of the holiday season!

witches night outThis is an amazing event at Gardner village that our group has attended during Halloween time. Gardner village has dozens of locally own shops and restaurants and Witches Night Out, is an event they hold there. Everyone can dress up like a witch, join the dance party and parade or eat the yummy food that’s there.
