My favorite thing about being a LAR

I love the Au Pair Program and I’m so happy to be able to help families get great childcare while enjoying learning about a new culture.
I also enjoy meeting up with the girls every month, learning more about each of their cultures and countries they grew up in.

Why I love my job

I started working for Go Au Pair in 216; I love still being a part of this cultural exchange program even after my time of being an au pair ended.
The au pairs we have here in Omaha are great. Currently we have au pairs from Germany, France, Czech Republic and expecting one to arrive from Ukraine soon.
The Omaha region is definitely growing with new au pairs and families monthly

About me

I grew up in a little town called East London, in South Africa. After school I took a gap year and went to live in England for a year, where the travel bug bit me.
Once I returned home, I went to college to study teaching. After I graduated and had been working for a few years, I wanted to travel again and decided to come to America to Au Pair.
I now have been living in Omaha, Nebraska for almost 4 years and love it. I’m settled here and still love to travel, but now I’m just as excited to return to my home in Omaha.
