My name is Andrea Ramirez, and I’m a Local Area Representative at Go Au Pair in Austin, TX. I have 5 years of experience working as a Special Education teacher. Childcare has always been a passion of mine and helping those who need it the most has been very rewarding. I have been a LAR since May 2019.
My favorite thing about being a LAR
As a LAR, I love becoming a tiny part of each family and learning about the Au Pairs’ cultures! I hope to be of help and support for the families in my area and all the amazing girls that come to serve as childcare providers in our country.
Why I love my job
I have a passion for traveling, and I love to eat all the traditional dishes from each country I visit. I get great satisfaction from talking with the locals and hearing about their everyday lives. In my spare time, I like to go hiking and spend time with my friends, family and of course, my dog Nori. I also enjoy painting pictures of places I visit and the people I encounter.
