Au Pair Says, “Thank You for Changing my Life”

First of all, I want to tell my host family how I feel with them. I feel very grateful for all the support that my host family has given me, from the beginning as they received me, the children with letters of welcome. It is incredible how my life has changed from a few months to here and I think words are not enough to thank you for every detail you have towards me. I feel we matched from the very beginning.

Becoming a “Big Sis” to My Host Kids…

Au Pair Says, “Thank You for Changing my Life”

In this letter, I would like to say one thing that I admire and one thing that my host kids thought me. I will start with Freddy, the oldest one, I love Freddy’s sense of humor, he is hilarious, he is  lighting  my mood every time that he is near from me and he also made me love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, that is what he has taught me, how to make the best peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, using the perfect amount of the ingredients.

My sweetness Lauren, she is an amazing athlete, we share the passion for basketball, when I go to her games, I cheer her up as much as I can, and I also had told her many tips to improve her basketball skills. Watching her balling is enjoyable. She had taught me to do play with different colors while we make some crafts, she is so creative.

My smart little boy Alex, it is incredible how smart he is, how he handles coding and building robots is impressive. He had taught me innovating things like commands for robots, I really like spending time with him, Alex’s imagination is not of this world.

I feel good about being part of this family and playing the role of the “big sis.”

My Host Parents Have Changed  My Life…

My host parents had thought me multiple things, but one that has changed my life is how to cook tasty healthy food. This is good because you take care of your body and your health, they taught me that it is important to know what we eat. Now I really enjoy cooking and most of all, I cook super nutritious food that I know is good for our body. I am indebted for all the knowledge acquired from my host parents, not just in the way eat, how to be prepared for any situation that could happen, and they are always ready for helping me.

Recently I have learned how to ride a bike using my host dad’s bike, and I found out that I really love riding bikes, I spent two hours every day going down Highland park. I also like our neighborhood, is so green and people nearby is so active.

At last but not least I want to thank my host parents for being the best role models in their kids. I am glad they are mentoring their kids so well; I am also grateful for the trust they give me every day to take care of their kids. I would like to mention that this adventure definitely could not be better, and I feel so blessed. Thank you for changing my life in the best possible way.
