average domestic airfare surcharge of $65. International
airfare surcharges may apply depending on Au Pair’s
departure country. Au Pair weekly stipend is subject to
change depending on Federal Minimum Wage changes. |

| Other Au Pair Program Types |
|
Extension Au Pair
Au Pairs have the option to extend for an additional
6, 9 or 12 months beyond their first year when they
complete all of their required college credits. Au Pairs
may either extend with their same Host Family or they
may decide to transfer Host Families for their second
year, which is called an Extension Transfer. The
decision to extend is not made until after the Au Pair's
arrival. There is an additional education requirement
during the extension year.
Transition Au Pair
For Host Families who need immediate child care,
transition Au Pairs could be the solution. Transition Au
Pairs have already arrived in the U.S. and need to
change Host Families for the remaining time on their
visa. Au Pairs will need to change families for a number
of different reasons and goAUPAIR will only transition
Au Pairs when no program rules, including safety
concerns, have been broken.

Prematch Au Pair
When a Host Family knows the Au Pair they would like
to bring to the U.S. outside of goAUPAIR, they are known
as a prematch. In these situations, the Au Pair applies
for the program through an International Agency in their
home country and completes the same application as all
Au Pairs. The same regulations for the Standard Au Pair
program apply to prematches.
