Recent comment from a 2015 Au Pair in Excellence Nomination

"Within about two minutes of interviewing Adriana, I knew that she would be our au pair.  We clicked so easily, it felt like she was a member of our family who we simply had not met yet.  Struggling to find the right words between her budding English vocabulary and my Spanglish, language was almost secondary as we breezed through the staticky Skype interview.  I believe that we offered her the position the next day, and she enthusiastically accepted.

That was almost half a year ago, and Adriana has now been living with us for over four months.  I can honestly say that bringing her to live with us as our au pair has been the best decision we could possibly have made. She has afforded us so many priceless “intangibles” during her time here that I can’t begin to quantify her contributions to our family. However, I can say that the most important gifts that she has given us are TIME, PEACE and LOVE.
