Recent comment from a 2015 Au Pair in Excellence Nomination

"There is much more to share about how Anna contributes to our family. Thursday nights are German nights when she prepares favorite dishes from home (I have enjoyed vegetarian meals!). She went apple-picking with us in September, carved pumpkins with family and friends for Halloween, and helped Patricia bake and decorate Penny’s birthday cake. She met my family in Connecticut over Thanksgiving. In December she taught us how to make German Advent wreaths from scratch and she handmade Advent calendars for the kids. She spent her first vacation with us in Peru meeting Patricia’s family at Christmas. She joins us at church almost every Sunday and several friends and parishioners have mentioned how friendly she is, even the gentleman who explained how he was a POW close to her hometown!
