The areas I serve in California
I cover the area of Fresno city, Clovis city, and up to Oakhurst in the North, South up to Stratford, southwest Tulare and East Firebaugh.
My name is Sandra Cuellar–Cooper. I have been a Local Area Representative (LAR) with Go Au Pair since 2018. I’m from Colombia, where I obtained my degree as a Lawyer. I have been living here for nine years and decided to take a different path in my career. I received two certificates from Fresno City College, one in pre-social work and another in child development, and currently, I’m in the process of obtaining another in Early Intervention. I dedicate most of my time to working as a Family Advocate for a nonprofit organization.
I live in Clovis with my husband and our son. I love outdoor activities, exercise, activities with my husband and son, and visiting my husband’s family.
I enjoy this position because I came here as an Au Pair and had a great experience with my Host Family, whom I consider my family; we get together on important dates and holidays. I visit them often and enjoy watching grow the three girls I used to take care. I love to help Au Pairs and families through this process since I know how it feels and can help families walk through the placement, helping them have the best experience for Au Pairs and Host Families.
Au Pair Cultural Activities
Au Pairs are required to attend a number of Cultural Activities with their Local Area Representative and nearby Au Pairs to make sure they experience the local community and culture during their stay. Below are some of the activities Sandra’s cluster has been up to recently!
