Cultural Exchanges Inspire
With 7 billion personalities on this planet– its no wonder we are so different. My friend moved from Utah to China last year and was back visiting for a month. While she shared a bundle of interesting Chinese cultural tidbits, I couldn’t help but ask her what it is like to raise her boy there (he is the same age as mine, two-years-old).

Educare part-time program benefits Au Pairs and Host Families
A child going to school changes the childcare dynamic in the home. There are less hours of childcare needed at this point. Some families “retire” their Au Pairs by this time, but others switch to Educare. While, not all Au Pair agencies offer Educare, Go Au Pair likes to give their families and Au Pairs options and flexibility. Under the Educare program the cost is lower because the Au Pair can only work 30 hours. Meanwhile, the Au Pairs have a little more money allotted to them to take more classes at their local colleges.
