Local Area Representative in Central New Jersey


Go Au Pair has a Local Area Representative in Central New Jersey and surrounding areas to help our families during their experience. Our local representative will help ensure families and Au Pairs have a successful and enjoyable year during the Au Pair program. You will find that your Local Area Representative will be an advocate in assisting you along the way. It is Go Au Pair's way of providing personal and local support to both Host Families and Au Pairs.

Driving can be part of your Au Pair’s responsibilities. If this is the case, the Au Pair will need to get a driver's license from the nearest New Jersey DMV office. Obtaining a social security number is important to both the Au Pair and the Host Family for tax payments, tax credits, and opening bank accounts.

 
Au Pairs can learn about inexpensive solutions to travel around town. Taxis and shuttles are also available.



 
Au Pairs and Host Families can learn about tax withholdings and filing specific for the Au Pair program. Always consult a tax advisor to learn how taxes apply to you.

Au Pair Education in Central New Jersey

During program participation, Au Pairs are required to complete academic credits equivalent to 12 semester hours for EduCare participants and 6 semester hours for all other participants. Here is a list of some of the accredited U.S. post secondary institutions in the Central New Jersey area.
